Along with the indigenous, Istrian varieties, in our vineyards we grow international ones as well - Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot - from which we make Grabar. By growing international varieties we want to show that the Istrian terroir is not suitable only for local Istrian varieties, but also for wines of international character.
Grape variety: Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon
Blended immediately after malolactic fermentation, and the proportions depend on the characteristics of the harvest. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks with controlled fermentation. The wine ages in oak barrels of various capacities before being bottled.
Best consumption period
The wines are put on the market when they reach optimal quality.
